Question

I've had a severe hearing loss since age 4 and my son has type 1 diabetes which he also got at age 4. I know there are many people in this world who have physical disabilities and medical conditions that cause them great suffering. Are we all doing this to ourselves, or is it a result of bad karma? How do we heal? I've said many prayers and have been to healers and doctors with no obvious results to date.

Answer

There is no "bad karma". What one gives out, one has to experience back. This is not our edict, but that of the Universe. You and your son have chosen your disabilities. At such a young age, for loss of hearing, often, there is usually something someone does not want to hear, either overwhelmed by the negativity you are hearing, feeling rejected or rejecting others. They close themselves off from this. If you had chosen this as a learning experience because of a past life, you would have had this at birth. Your son also chose his condition. This is usually due to there not being enough sweetness in life. A fear of not communicating in life, A deep need for approval, or a constant craving for love. The constant need for sweetness to mask the feelings of limitation, weakness and fear. First of all begin saying an affirmation for yourself such as "I no longer wish to have my hearing loss, I let go of all that has stopped me from hearing. I will be well and hear loudly"

Question

(Edited for language) Dear Maitreya, I am a Reiki Master and Past Life Therapist from India. I regress people easily but my therapist friends were unable to regress me. They could not induce a trance state. I am very eager to know my past to make spiritual growth and eager to go into a deep meditatative state but I have failed so far. What shuold I do? My healing energy is powerful. I am also unable to hear my spirit guides and angels. I want to talk to them. What is blocking me?

Answer

You have a deep fear from a past life where you were manipulated for your spiritual energy and you were killed, actually by being hypnotized by a Sharman who wanted power. Say this affirmation as often as you can. "I let go of all fear of being regressed or hypnotized. I will be in no danger, I have spirit to protect me." I cannot guarantee this will assist you, but do try it, and try and change the old deep subconscious energy.

Dear Maitreya, you had once said to me in a public channelling in Singapore, ".. so when you are ready, the universe will open a door for you and then believe you may, you will really do some magnificent things.." In what areas do you mean I need to be ready first?

Answer

By telling we in our world you are ready, but this also requires no fear, and sacrifice of your Self, with no thought of Self. We ask you to prove yourself before we will give the rewards which come with the spiritual work. You will be led and guided by us, but you need to have no fear.
