The Truth about Jesus

The Jews of old called him a heretic and an impostor, the Christians consider him to be the unique son of God, and the Muslims revere him as a great prophet. But who was Jesus and what was his state of consciousness?

When we are born into this world, we arrive with a certain amount of residual expertise which has been accumulated via the genes of our ancestors. Coupled with this is the encoded personal information of consciousness from previous lives or incarnations – our continuing soul identities or spiritual ‘egos’ if you like. One way of connecting to spiritual life involves the art of remembering the lessons of the past experiences of ourselves and those who came before us, and then gathering all that information into the present day practice of our thoughts, words and deeds, thereby consciously evolving.

Jesus is one of the best known examples in human history of somebody who embodied what is called the unity consciousness or oneness, whose ‘teachings’ we can all learn from. He was a human being just like you and me, and yet someone who was able to connect with the greater potentials of human ‘beingness’. He was and is not unique, for the ability that he awakened in himself is inherent in all people, yet few recognize and realize the potential. The example he provided, as with other ‘prophets’ or ‘masters’ was one that serves to remind us of the human paradox – which repeatedly shows us that what we may seemingly become - is that which we already are - which is interconnected spiritual beings capable of sharing one unified sate of consciousness.

He was and is not unique, for the ability that he awakened in himself is inherent in all people, yet few recognize and realize the potential.

Greatly misunderstood and misrepresented over the past two millennia, the teachings of Jesus contain the foundational tenets of spiritual wisdom, and yet many in the world have failed to grasp the transformational power of his message.

The Bible is one collection of man’s understanding of the word, the logos, the emanations from universal consciousness. Many of the New Testament stories and teachings are allegories or symbolic parables containing not just one or two, but multi-layered meanings. The full message of these stories lies beyond the words, touching the reader in alignment with their present individual understanding, perhaps ‘revealing’ something more to them, thereby expanding their consciousness further. The Gospel of John for example, seems particularly full of this type of encoded messaging, and the method in which it resonates with us is something that I call positive interchange. When applied to the written word, the theory of positive interchange allows for the exchange of residual higher consciousness from beyond the informational value of the words, thus revealing or sharing a deeper awareness of their meaning at a higher ‘frequency’. The same principle is contained within all sacred or mystical books and writings, be it the Upanishads, the Zend-Avesta, the Bhagavad-Gita and many others. They all contain messages which become more revealed through the deepening of our awareness.

Another notable fact we can recognize on reading the Bible is that the ‘God’ of the Old Testament was a ‘God’ of war and revenge, who was selfish and altogether quite frightening. The later ‘God’ of Jesus was a ‘God’ of peace and forgiveness who openly shared his love with all people of diverse backgrounds. So the two versions of ‘God’ are poles apart, but they serve to record the development of the spiritual consciousness of mankind, revealing the evolved understanding of Jesus.

The further we disentangle ourselves from the image that we, in the shape of the “I”, are a completely separate entity - then the more aware we become of our true selves. As this awareness of spiritual identity increases, then likewise the link to our “I” ego decreases. As we self-orientate ourselves away from perceiving and living our lives as being that separate identity (or what I call the actuality of living in a fractionate state) we naturally move towards a wholeness that can be lived and comprehended as oneness. It was this example of the ultimate state of being that Jesus embodied in his life and the one in which he taught and practiced.

When your awareness of consciousness transcends the objective mind, you enter the dimension that exists beyond the form of your being, revealing to yourself the timeless intelligence that is behind everything. It is simply within all things, difficult and inconvenient for our minds to imagine, but possible for us to sense with our higher or Metasenses. Jesus spoke of the future of this divine oneness for mankind, which is recorded in the Gospel of John c.17 as follows:

v. 21: “That they may all be one; as though, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they
may also be one in us;”

v. 22: “… that they may be one, even as we are one.”

v. 23: “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one…”

What Jesus referred to as perfection is the knowing of the self, the true self, the spiritual consciousness of oneness that we all have access to. For if you truly know yourself, you will truly know all others, because in a fully awakened understanding we undeniably realize the sense that we are all one.

The higher vibrations harnessed by embodying oneness allow for the possibility of miracles to occur. These ‘supernatural’ events can happen because they are aligned to the natural loving universal energy that is the heart of all existence, beyond the normal comprehension of our minds. They provide us with clues to help untangle the incredible possibilities of human potential. That potential is not limited to one individual or a small group of individuals, but open to all men and women. It is how we think and what we think of that reveals our ability to connect with this universal state and to manifest it in the world today. ALL people have glimpsed this state of oneness or enlightenment in their lives, most for the odd second here or there, some for days, others for weeks or months. In the case of Jesus, he was able to hold and embody the state of oneness for more or less several years. I say more or less because there are clear references in the New Testament that suggest that he occasionally let it slip. After all, he was only human!

John Chapter 2:13-15: "The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple he found people selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables. Making a whip of cords, he drove all of them out of the temple, both the sheep and the cattle. He also poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.”

Jesus was clearly a human being, who like you and me, had a mind and a body and wasn’t perfect; yet he realized a functional connection with a transcending consciousness.

Other examples exist, such as his on going frustration and loss of temper with the beliefs and practices of other sects such as the Pharisees and the Sadducees, or his deepening impatience with the apostles. I point these clues out to suggest that Jesus was clearly a human being, who like you and me, had a mind and a body and wasn’t perfect; yet he realized a functional connection with a transcending consciousness. That unified consciousness is a loving, non-aggressive state that serves to help all, a wholeness which acts from beyond intellect. It cannot be understood by the mind alone, it can only become revealed by being within it.

Nevertheless, Jesus was an extremely rare individual. During his life he expressed a vital fullness through his insights that touched humanity in an inspirational fashion. His teachings impacted people on all levels because they were not solely concentrated on wisdom for one part of society, or in maintaining a hermit like sustainable peace, but on making the active sharing, loving and creative impulses of a functional higher consciousness accessible to all people. When the objective mind is transcended, the full potential of our connection to consciousness can be approached, for then we are no longer harnessed to the accepted consensus of what is possible, but we touch upon the boundless and immeasurable concept of limitlessness.

But what if that state of being that Jesus personified so well was actually the natural state of every human being?

So if we can look past the edited stories to sense the truth behind the man known as
Jesus, it is conceivable to see him as a brother, a powerful representation of the potential that can be achieved by the human species, an example we can all learn from. Once we understand that he was a normal man, conceived in the same way as you and I, we can begin to understand the real enormity of his achievements. But what if that state of being that Jesus personified so well was actually the natural state of every human being?

If we can share our experiences of higher consciousness, then we can begin to create change in the world; for when enough of us have recognized and realized a perspective of oneness, then the accumulated energy of consciousness, or weight of perception allows for manifested action to occur. We can all do something, whether in meditation, prayer or in a passing thought. Think, speak and act in a way of peace, harmony, love and equality as often as you can, and it will add spiritual fuel to the present global awakening.

Jesus was a revolutionary, and all that want to bind humanity together as one are also revolutionaries and heretics, because they consciously or sub-consciously seek to create change in the beliefs of society albeit through peaceful methods. Not forcing opinions in a direct physical way, but using the subtleties of consciousness. The only part of the human being that genuinely seeks unification and equality is the spirit, for the body and the mind aspire and see themselves as unique and different to the whole, creating distinction and differences in society.

Imagine what the world would be like if all people truly realized and put into practice the fundamental truism at the core of existence; that we are all one. That each person was understood to play an equal role in unifying the whole. Where love and forgiveness become the fundamental building blocks of a new society based on humanity’s true nature – spirit. It would mean the foundational poles of belief held in society would be challenged and redefined; from fear to love, war to peace, judgment to forgiveness, and death to life.

We all have the possibility to realize positive change in both ourselves and the world by recognizing the limitless power of spirit. By recognizing that individuals like Buddha and Jesus were human beings, like you and me, we may come to realize and embody the same consciousness. For the same qualities are available for all people to share because they are the attributes of a universal consciousness, not belonging to a separate individual or favored group. Every single one of us has an underlying divine connection to what is often referred to as ‘God’- but we often lead such busy, hectic lives that we deny ourselves the opportunity to get in contact with that innate truth.

Your expression was intended to be shared in the world, that’s why you’re here.

Your expression was intended to be shared in the world, that’s why you’re here. If you recognize what you are capable of, you can remember and reach your soul’s identity, awakening and sharing your true nature with all. You don’t need to channel another source, because there is only one source- the Source of all being which you have a direct line to because it is within you. By recognizing or channeling your higher self - which is the same as any other higher self past, present or future - you can learn to remember and utilize the spiritual connection that exists between us all. When we arrive at this understanding, we see the interconnectedness of all being, that the greatest potential we have as human being’s is to recognize our spiritual nature and to share that light with others.

Within unity consciousness miracles do occur. It is possible to instantaneously heal a person by touch once the connection beyond the mind has been realized. Of course, we may well feel that this reality is beyond us today, but one way that we can all begin approaching this state of being is to begin creating the space in our thought for that potential consciousness to grow. As revealed in the book, this is what is called spatial consciousness and what I believe to be the next stage of evolution for the mass consciousness of humanity here on Earth. With practice, this state is something we can all access and utilize. If we can become conscious of the obstructing nature of our ordinary thoughts, we can then concentrate on stopping them, allowing a space or gap to arise within our thought patterning that will allow the blossoming of a connection to the fuller possibilities of consciousness.

The simplest exercise for learning to develop our connection to spatial consciousness is something we can all do on a daily basis, even in our busy modern lives. The intention by practicing this method is to become awakened or further awakened to the space or stillness that is. Try it yourself the next time you see the news headlines in the evening – intentionally allow the creation of a gap to occur before you allow your mind to react. The TV or radio news can be a constant source of negative information, so let’s try and turn it into something positive.

When you see or hear the latest reports on wars, terrorism, poverty, and such like, this will automatically trigger empathic thoughts of despair and helplessness for your fellow man. So this is what to try:

  1. As the thoughts such as “THAT’S AWFUL - THAT’S TERRIBLE – I DON’T BELIEVE IT” arise in your mind- STOP the process. Turn down the sound and say ‘STOP’.
  2. Yes - you can stop those thoughts because those thoughts come from you, so stop the automated reaction of your objective mind. Simply say to yourself ‘STOP’. Order your mind to ‘STOP’. Whose mind is it anyway? It’s yours so tell it to ‘STOP’. Don’t discuss it – tell it.
  3. At first you may not be aware of the existence of much or any Space before the arrival of your next thought –But don’t worry – it has already sunk in – Initially this may have been for a millisecond or two – but it has triggered the ability to create space within your factory like mind.
  4. Do this at the same time every evening until you begin to sense space occurring between your thoughts. You are opening the door to the life changing dimension of spatial consciousness.
  5. If you can stop the incessant trail of thoughts arising from your mind, and then become conscious of that space that you have created, then you have begun to recognize this dimension. You are then conscious of being conscious and have proven to yourself that your mind is not who you are – because you can stop it – and yet you are still living, still fully conscious. This opens a doorway to the discovery of what you really are – your true self.

It is this consciousness that can provide us with a full, holistic view of reality that will not only change us as individuals – but couples, families, society and the world at large. Spatial consciousness is on the evolutionary path of mankind and has the potential to awaken us to a time when humanity will be able to thrive in a world of sustainable peace, harmony and freedom.

This is the potential of consciousness and the destiny of man.
