About the Channels

Margaret McElroy has been channeling Maitreya for 14 years now. In 1999, she was invited to channel a speech from Maitreya to the SEAT Group at the United Nations in New York. She and her husband, Alan, now channel Maitreya and other energies from Spirit on the interent radio show titled "Sixth Sense". The show is broadcast on www.contacttalkradio.com every Wednesday from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm PST. Margaret and Alan spend half of each year travelling around the world to promote the teachings of Maitreya via channeled evenings and workshops. |

Alan McElroy had spent many years studying the various forms of spirituality before he was led to the www.maitreya-edu.org website. On finding the website, he says, "was like coming home, the simple writings resonated so strongly with me and spoke so clearly to me." In October 2004, Alan and Margaret started their path together, first in New Zealand, then Australia and finally in Seattle.
