I have been asked this question many times and I’m sure that many of you have also occasionally pondered this question!

Finally I feel that I that have satisfactorily harnessed the answer I’ve so long sought in this simple concise definition. ‘Love is the absence of fear.’

I’ve always acknowledged that fear is the opposite of love, which is a very simple statement; yet until now I have readily offered and accepted lengthy drawn-out complex explanations of what love is! Basically this was because I couldn’t recognise the simplicity of what was staring me in the face! However the numerous examples I’ve espoused and those I’ve heard from others have been to a large degree correct. But in the final analysis I believe the short but clear definition that I have quoted above to be correct. Any input of fear to any degree in any situation in life cancels out love.

A person without fear never dons a suit of amour in any situation!

When we conclude; and many people do these days, that we create out reality entirely from our thoughts then it must follow that one thought of fear, even if fleeting, begins a seed of growth within us that will produce something to fear!

How has life changed throughout time because of fear; how far have we come from the perfect plan of the Garden of Eden? Too far! How much love has every one of us lost due to fear? Far too much!

Some people would be thinking at his point that they have no fears and I agree some people have limited fears but if the mass population in the world lived life based in love rather than in fear then our present world would be much different. The mass consciousness of love would make it so! Humans love being in control of life. Control becomes their amour, this makes them feel strong, powerful and even at times invincible and thus consider that they have no fear. But if there is nothing to fear why is the amour of control necessary? A person without fear never dons a suit of amour in any situation!

Every country in the world today has a defense force on standby in readiness for attack from a neighbouring country. Suburban residents build high fences and plant rows of trees to keep their neighbours at bay. These are clearly fear based tactics! There are so many examples of fear in our world today. Where is love?

Every answer we seek lies within our being and it is housed in love!

Love is within us all; it is the core of our being. Humanity has learnt to look outwardly for answers and solutions in life whenever a problem or challenge befalls them. It’s time to stop and change the direction in which we look to seek our answers. Every answer we seek lies within our being and it is housed in love!

If we alleviate fear from life then we will instantly create heaven on earth because the energy of love will be the only driving force of life.
