Chief Joseph on Prostitution

Prostitution, and any subjects having to do with sex, are often explosive, divisive things here in the USA. It seems odd to me sex, which I view as one of God’s greatest gifts to the human race, is so often vilified. When it is discussed, it’s usually with some trepidation -- even in those areas where it’s acceptable. For example, within marriage.

I live in a little town in the USA’s State of Wyoming. Back in the days of the Old West, in the 1800s, prostitution was openly practiced here. In fact, one of the most popular restaurants and bars in my town used to be a bordello in the late 1800s. No big deal back then.

There are two US states I’m aware of where prostitution is legal: Nevada and Rhode Island. Other countries where it’s legal include Germany and the Netherlands. There may be still others I’m not aware of.

US presidential candidate Ron Paul, a medical doctor, believes our federal government ought to refrain from legislating morality, from interfering with people’s freedom of choice. For example, he opposes the USA’s so-called war on drugs. He also opposes federal efforts to regulate prostitution, or make it illegal.

I cannot speak for other cultures outside the USA, but I often wonder why this American society I live in is so obsessed with sex. It seems to me we are overlaying some of life’s greatest gifts and pleasures with rampant guilt.

Sex, for one.

For another, food.

I don’t remember a time in my life when Americans have been so consumed with feeling guilt over virtually everything they eat. And over virtually everyone they choose to have sex with. Except, of course, in marriage. But, even there, I see lots of folks, in my work with Chief Joseph, who feel uncomfortable making love with the person they’re married to. Or even talking about it.

What’s it all about?

Chief Joseph

Humans have overlaid sex with more “shoulds” and “should-nots,” more guilt, more confusion than we have witnessed in almost any other area of physical human life.

You can speculate endlessly on the reasons for it all -- so-called “authorities,” religious or governmental, wanting to control the masses. Or whatever. The list of motivations is probably endless. But the end result is your freedoms, as spirit beings in human form, are woefully curtailed.

Sex must be experienced only under certain conditions, only with certain people (preferably of the opposite sex), and so on.

Friends, do you know what happens when the “authorities” curtail your freedoms? Of course you do. Most of you probably first experienced this as little children. When adults told you not to do such and such, what was your first reaction? Often it was to rebel, and do exactly what you’d been forbidden to do.

Even as little children you cherished your freedom of choice. As adults your choices are limited and limiting almost everywhere you turn.

If everyone on the planet knew and felt their total freedom, you would never again have wars, famine, or catastrophes like September 11, 2001 in the USA.

When humans are free to do as they please, what a wonderful world it would be for all of you.

The only reason for the “rebellious” choices people make -- September 11, murders, rapes, prostitution, the list is endless -- is they do not feel free.

The more churches, governments, other “authorities” limit your choices, your freedom, the more you rebel. And so it goes on and on.

You all want to be free. Total freedom is your birthright, your natural state of being.

When you all recognize that and allow all others their freedom, all your earthly human problems will vanish.

That day is coming. It must come. But it is not yet at hand.

Since 1992, John Cali has been communicating with a non-physical entity called Joseph. In one of his many physical lifetimes, this spirit was incarnated as the legendary Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe in what is now the state of Oregon in the northwestern USA. prostitution

About prostitution... I have no problem if a woman wants to sell her body for money, but the problem is this act is often associated with much more, control of a pimp, drugs and sexual abuse at a young age. I do not know one woman who asked as a little girl, ' What do you want to be when you grow up?' would say a prostitute! This industry is also paid with by mostly men. Women don't seem to find it as neccessary. Which leads to the question of:WHY? Just because it is one of the oldest proffessions on this earth does not make it right. Mary Magdelene did not want to be a prostitute, she had to in order to survive. The men that used her did not have love in their hearts only release. Would they been seen taking her out for dinner or introducing her to their friends and family, I think not. I believe that you can reach a powerful level of compassion and passion when you share sex with one person. This act with one will bring you to a state of extasy as you feel your higher destiny with God, which is to procreate, much in the same way a woman feels when delivering a child. You finely will realise your ultimate purpose on this earth plane, to love. She

FYI...Mary Magdelene was not

FYI...Mary Magdelene was not a prostitute. This common misconception comes from the Catholic church having stated for centuries that she was. Surprisingly, the Catholic church has now admitted that there is no basis in history or scripture to believe Mary Magdelene was a prostitute. Even more surpisingly they have apoligized for spreading the falsehood.
