This is part of the Ascended Master Series to introduce some of the ascended masters, also known as the Great White Brotherhood. They are souls who have attained a higher consciousness and are now assisting humanity from the spirit realm.
The Ascended Master El Morya is Chohan of the First Ray of the Divine Will. For those who step onto a path of higher learning, working through this Ray is often one of the first lessons, as self discipline is required to overcome the ego and connect to the higher realms of Light, to God. Master El Moyra continues to encourage and work with those choosing to release the old ways, those wishing to gain ascension, higher knowledge, and peace connecting through the Divine Will of God. He is a member of the Great White Brotherhood.
The Great White brotherhood - so called because the white Light they emit like a great 'aura' - is a group of Higher beings many call Masters because they have attained that status of higher consciousness. They are all part of the Spiritual Hierarchy which oversees the development of mankind.
Some of El Moyra's notable lives
Master El Moyra worked closely with Master Kuthumi ( some say Koot Hoomi) and Saint Germain in founding the Theosophical Society, giving teachings to a few selected chelas (Theosophical Students). The British Museum has these teachings today on file.
In a previous incarnation, El Moyra was Abraham, the patriarch of ancient Israel.
He was also Melchior, one of the three wise men of the East who visited baby Jesus.
He incarnated again as King Arthur of Camelot, working with Knights of the Round Table, in search of the Holy Grail.
Returning in 1542 as Akbar the Great, he founded the Mogul empire in India, and became one of the greatest rulers of the time.
In Ireland in the nineteenth century, he entered as Thomas Moore, the famous poet.
