In December I wrote about the need for a balanced between a financial life and a spiritual life. It is impossible to live a fully spiritual life without having balance with your earthly life and the world around you. Having written about the need back in December, I will now endeavour to give some guidance on how you can start doing this.
It is an absolute necessity to balance both realms of spirituality and the material world - to create a life full with everything you desire and to become the spiritual person you aspire to be.
At first it may sound easier said than done? How do you change those doubts, fears and thoughts of feeling blocked? There is no magic pill, no single modality that will transform everything before your eyes. And no one can do it for you or to you. So how do we go about it?
It may seem daunting at first, however, each and every person already has the answer to these questions and the means to transform their own lives. The fine details for each of us will be different but the general process is the same.
For millennia, mankind has looked to others for their solutions. The quick fix and remedies, giving one's power over to the so-called healer to work wonders. We now have more illness, dis-ease and greater loss of direction than ever before. Continuing to do the same will only create more of the same results.
Your state of health, emotions and wellbeing are your doing, and so the changing of those is also your responsibility.
The first step is to recognize that there is no such thing as a practitioner healer. At best we practitioners are guides to healing. Recognise that you are the creator of your present existence. Your state of health, emotions and wellbeing are your doing, and so the changing of those is also your responsibility. It’s about your empowerment.
It’s not about blame – it is about empowerment through accepting and taking responsibility. This is the first step. It is where we begin the journey.
Seek out guides who have knowledge, experience and humility so that they focus on your process.
There is a process to follow which is generally the same for us all and the tools are also basically the same. The way you use those tools will differ and it is for that reason that I recommend that you seek a guide, a mentor, to take you through those steps. Their role is not to do it to you. Their role is to guide you, to make the journey a safe one. Seek out guides who have knowledge, experience and humility so that they focus on your process. A guide with a good understanding of the steps is essential. It is not impossible to transform on your own, but it is more enjoyable and safe when you have the right guide.
The best guides, I have found, are those who have a wealth of life experiences and who favour no single modality but focus on a blending of modalities that may change as you progress through your journey.
Your present states, your life as it is, was created over your life time through your beliefs, values and memories. Memories and conditions that have been locked in at a cellular level. Your thoughts reaffirm your beliefs and generate more thoughts of the same. How often have you been told, “change the way you think and your life will be better”?
When our thoughts are negative so are our feelings. When we have supportive and health thoughts we feel healthy and well. So the answer is just change the way you think…right? No. The answer is not first in changing your thoughts. Changing the thoughts is only an event of the process.
