There seems to be two archetypes of people in this world. One kind does not want to have anything to do with spirituality and insists that they believe only what can be seen with their own eyes. On the other hand, the other kind gets so "spiritual" that they do not want to stay on earth any longer and dreams of ascension and enlightenment all day.
I think I have somewhat been a little bit of both at different stages of my current lifetime. Yet the irony is that while some of us could not tolerate the dross and denseness of this planet, many souls can't wait to get back to Earth to experience physicality. We must understand that one dimension or density is not better than another. Each has its own unique experiences to offer and so there are certain experiences only possible on the physical plane.
I have always pondered this question - why try so hard to get out of this incarnation when we can't wait to incarnate again after we return home? The key to living joyously is perhaps to learn to look at the brighter side of everything and enjoy and appreciate each moment and every wondrous creation, such as that cup of coffee.

You have hit the nail on the head, Joyouschee. As a perfect demonstration of our duality we feel we must be one or the other. We have believed if one exists the other cannot. I, for one, look forward to the ability to consciously walk as a multidimensional being. It seems I stepped on the Planet in 1954 KNOWING all this was true. There was no support for my ideas but I was guided, nonetheless, to Edgar Cayce and others. My inner urgings, while profound, were often painful as there was no one to talk to or share. But things are so different now. The evidence is everywhere. It's in our lives...it's in science...it's in events. Indeed, your e-zine is a beautiful example. Spirit has so much to say to us...so much to offer us. I look forward with great expectation cherishing each moment of choice, observation, and appreciation. You have found a passion in this website.
