Ascended Masters

Ascended masters are just entities like you and me except that they are not required to incarnate on the Earth plane anymore. It is generally described that they have learned their lessons, balanced their karma, and mastered the wisdom that the Earth plane offers. They worked closely with one another and have assisted mankind for a long time. Collectively, they are also commonly known as the Great White Brotherhood.

Nevertheless, all ascended masters are just teachers and they are here to remind us of our divinity, and that we have all the knowledge and wisdom within ourselves. Jesus, one of the ascended masters once said, “As I do these things, so shall ye do them, and greater things…” (Bible, John 14:12). He is reminding all of us that he is just an example and we can all do what he did and even greater things.

Other popularly known ascended masters are Maitreya, Kuthumi, St. Germain, Mother Mary, Lanto, Kwan Yin, El Morya, Paul the Venetian, Serapis Bey, Hilarion, Lady Nada, Maha Chohan, Djwhal Khul, Melchizedek, Sanat-Kumara, Babaji, Gautama Buddha, etc.

There are many other essences who do not name themselves, or they give themselves a generic and collective name like Masters of the Spirit World or Masters of the Light.

Masters of the Spirit World explain:

We have been known by many names, and how we refer to ourselves you would not be able to hear, understand, or repeat. We have adopted the nom de plume Masters of the Spirit World because it allows all to know that those who participate in these messages are currently non-physical, have lived through the same experiences you now endure, have learned the lessons embedded in them, and have mastered the wisdom which precipitated the whole cycle. It by no means implies that we want to be considered as superior to you or some type of guru. So, please, feel free to refer to us as you see fit.
