Science has only identified two strands of DNA. However, many sources have explained that there are more than two strands of DNA, which are inter-dimensional since we are really multi-dimensional beings. Our DNA is currently changing as we make the transition from the 3rd density to the 4th density or higher.

Our DNA strands are also said to contain all our soul memories - past, present and future - our personal Akashic records.
