God & Goddess

In metaphysics and the new spirituality, God is not separated from us. God is also commonly referred to as the All That Is, Creator, Source, Spirit or Everything That Exists and Has Not Yet Existed. These terms suggest that God is omnipresent (i.e. present everywhere at the same time) and all-inclusive.

Omni (channeled by John Payne):

Many of you still view God as a deity that has personality, and individualised wishes and intentions. If we view the Universe as being consciousness and that you, we, and all of 'it' and 'us' and 'them' exist within that consciousness, we could more accurately describe God as being the field of unifying consciousness that binds us all together.

There is no individual being called God, for each of us is an individualised expression of that whole and we carry within us the same qualities of the divine. You, like us, are creators, for you exist within the mind of God and tap directly into that consciousness in every moment of your existence, whether or not you acknowledge it.

At the soul level, we are really androgynous, i.e. both male and female. Hence, god and goddess are really the same. It is part of the human duality to want to label some spiritual beings as Gods and others as Goddess. It is also common for people to refer to the masculine aspect of All That Is as God and the feminine aspect as Goddess.

It should also be noted that light and dark, good and evil are just part of the dualistic illusion of our current reality. Everything is of God/All That Is.

Could it be that God is really you and me and everything else?
