Karma is commonly known as cause and effect. There are several ideas about the concept of karma in metaphysics:

1. Energy of Incompletion

The definition of karma: Karma is the energy of incompletion. It begs to be solved, and drives a Human being to behave a certain way, live in a certain place, and meet other specific Humans for resolution. It was created and worked in an older Earth energy as a way to move the energy of the planet vibrationally one way or the other as humanity worked the karma with total free choice.

If you clear your karma, you are releasing an old energy and moving on to one where you are free to help the planet with your light. This is your free choice, and it is driven by your intent. Those with the "attitude" of pure spiritual intent will indeed move into that new attribute of being a Human with no past-life karma. Part of this process is the understanding that becoming interdimensional means blending the past, present and future (potential) into a new reality called "the now." This "now" leaves no room for "past karmic instruction sets" within the DNA.

2. You Judge Yourself

It is not punishment meted out to you by a higher spiritual authority or God. When we pass over to spirit (our true home), we review our own lives (often metaphorically referred to as the hall of mirrors) and we have a bigger picture of the situations and experiences. We can also feel the emotions and thoughts of others. As such, we judge ourselves harshly and our souls may feel a need to "repay" another soul or experience the opposite end to learn.

For example, you may have cheated someone of money in a past lifetime. When you pass over, you review your own life and judge yourself for it. You may choose to come back to assist this other soul whom you had cheated in a financial way, thus resolving the karma.

3. It is the belief

For example, if you hold a belief in one lifetime that you are unable to create wealth, or are not worthy of wealth, and this belief is strong enough to motivate you to steal, then it is this belief that will follow you into the next episode of physical experience. It is not the deed that draws karma to you; it is the belief that led to the deed, and the thought beind the deed. As you re-enter this current life experience, you are automatically drawn (by the law of attraction) to those parents who are magnetically attracted to you; you are drawn to them through the process of resonance. You will be drawn to parents who share similar beliefs and experiences concerning wealth, therefore setting up a similar pattern, until you decide that this no longer serves you.

Change your beliefs, and you change your karma.

4. Karma is not a law

Another camp suggests that karma is not a law of cause and effect at all. It is influenced by eastern religions and need not exist as soon as you drop the belief that it does have an effect on you.
