We are spiritual beings (or souls) experiencing our growth in consciousness through a series of lifetimes in physical human form. In other words, we have been on the earth many times before, and more specifically have had close personal relationships with particular souls. These souls are known as your soul mates. For example, you may find that your husband in this life might have been your father in a previous life and a close friend in yet another.
In our perspective, a soul mate does not refer to a person who is the one and only soul destined to be your life partner. A common concept of soul family or soul group also suggests that we often incarnate with our soul mates in close circles. It is also not uncommon to find that someone who has some animosity with you could actually be your soul mate. The Earth plane can be likened to a stage where we have agreed to play certain roles to support one another and help each other to grow.
