I wrote this review quite some time back:
This is one of the most controversial books ever. Well, what could be more controversial than a man claiming that he had a conversation with God?!
Like many others, I saw the bestseller book in almost every new age bookshelf and even as one on a spiritual journey, I could hardly believe that Neale Donald Walsch did talk to God. I mean, who are we, to talk to the almighty God? Then, I realise that it is simply the conditioning that has made man so afraid of God when God is simply All That Is and the total sum of everything. You can’t avoid God. He’s here and there and everywhere. We are all a part of it. And Now thinking about it, if God is so brilliant, what’s there to stop Him from having a conversation with anyone if he would like to?
Anyhow, I finally bought the book after many inner urges. And I am just simply overwhelmed. How silly of me to avoid it until now! It is one of the most enlightening book I have ever read. Many answers are found and God explains things so clearly and simply. The most impressive thing I must say is… When I read other spiritual books, I often ended in some doubts about certain issues. For example, if event A leads to event B and B is what we observe now, most books and ‘masters’ simply explain why A leads to B… I would often wonder… what leads to A in the first place? Yet, in the CWG trilogy, the explanations are somehow more complete. Now, I understand why life is often said to be in cycles… i.e. it goes round and round… with no ends and beginnings.
You can get the books from your local new age stores, Borders, Kinokuniya or online at amazon.
