My name is Bennett Marks. You may know me as the host of Empowerment Radio, which has aired in Seattle since March, 2005. Or perhaps you ran across my book, "Perspectives Creating a Vision of Your Ultimate Life," maybe you have attended one of the live experiential events or maybe this is your first encounter with me.

For nearly 20 years, I have been working with individuals and companies to help them produce breakthrough results. Like you and the vast majority of my clients, I have a profound interest in the quest for deeper insight and life purpose.

After reviewing the site and working with some of the people at Cosmic Lighthouse, I wanted to share that my experience here feels like a home away from home. I have truly enjoyed both the dialog and the content and wanted say thank you to the publishers and contributors for creating such an extraordinary place to visit.

I also wanted to reach out and get to know you, my fellow seekers, and perhaps invite you to contact me if my words resonate in your heart.

I found my transformation in the world not through some Ivy League prep school, but rather from the school of hard knocks, when in 1989, a significant year, I woke up to a life governed by alcohol, the party scene, misguided beliefs, and a profound emptiness in my soul. And so I started searching and eventually found hundreds, if not thousands of modalities that spoke to these issues.

Eventually I wrote my book and started a radio show in order to bring the most profound teachers I could find to the air and generate a conversation that made a difference. I wanted to find that place "where the edge of insight met the resolve to be in action," and that is what my show was about.

I guess at some point, I crossed the line and discovered the answers I was seeking externally were not "out there" at all, but rather inside - in a quiet place - that when I truly listened - made absolutely perfect sense. The problem was that I could just never hear that part of me because the other part, my Ego, was always screaming to do this go there and muscle through life. I think we all have this inner voice and my mission is to now help people find it.

I would like to invite each of you to either attend this event or even to write me to open up a dialog on these topics. And to keep generating and being at cause either through Cosmic Lighthouse or in our own personal endeavors.

Each of us have a profound message and this forum is a great place to share who we truly are.
