Astrology
For most of us when someone mentions Astrology to you, your first thought is perhaps the daily horoscopes you read in the paper and the knowledge you have of your own birth sign. What people are not so much aware of is that your Astrology is the blue print of your life, it is the hand book you lost on the way down!
How this Astrology works is through the interpretation of your Natal Chart. Your Natal Chart is a map of the heavens at the time of your birth, therefore no two Charts will be alike as this information is based on the TIME, DATE and PLACE of your birth, and as the planets move in relationship to each other every 4 minutes, it is extremely rare for any two Charts to be the same.
For anyone, and especially those on the spiritual path, your Natal Chart is an imperative guide and wealth of information to help you along your journey. I believe that when you truly know and accept yourself for the person that you are, then there is nothing you cannot achieve in your lifetime. Your Natal Chart gives you the insight into what makes you tick and react the way that you do to certain situations and people, and through this insight you can learn to let go of the Self and the ego attachment we have to our emotions. Your Natal Chart can also identify periods in your life when you are concentrating on particular lessons, and you can see how at these times there is always plenty of positive energy to use to learn from, just as there is negative energy there to refuse to learn from.
Through a series of articles I am going to introduce you to the different planets and the energies that surround them and how they affect you and your growth on the earth plane.
Neptune is known as the planet of illusion and where he sits in our Charts is often where we can find it very hard to see things realistically.
Neptune
The planet Neptune rules the astrological sign of Pisces, the 12th sign of the Zodiac. Neptune is known as the planet of illusion and where he sits in our Charts is often where we can find it very hard to see things realistically. This planet also identifies our imagination and power of creative thought which is why most Piscean souls have a very creative side, and also why a lot of these souls are often accused of having their heads in the clouds at times. Interestingly, most souls with their Sun in Pisces, and often those with just their Ascendant, or other half of them, in Pisces, have not chosen to come back on to the earth plane in this incarnation for themselves. These souls often have a lot of karmic obligation to others, and to humanity in general, and have chosen to come back to clear as much of this as they can in one incarnation. I have come across many of those with their Sun or Ascendant in Pisces, who often reach the age of 8 before they will genuinely accept and understand that they are here. (I myself have my Ascendant in Pisces, and can still remember very clearly the day I realised that I was actually here on the earth plane as a living soul.) Therefore, their tendency to have their head in the clouds is a type of protection and a way of distancing themselves from reality, and also due to the fact that being here was perhaps not their first choice for this lifetime.
When we look at Neptune as being the planet of “illusion” we must then look at what the illusion is that we are choosing to see through in this incarnation. The House and astrological sign that Neptune is sitting in within your Chart will identify exactly what part of your life it is that you are here to learn to see through and find the reality. I call this the “transformation of Neptune”, and feel that it is very important that we do transform this part of ourselves as there is much confusion and often fear surrounding this placement.
As I have mentioned before in my other articles, unconditional love is the most important thing we are all here to learn, and this love must be given unconditionally to YOU first and foremost.
