Joyouschee: The Demons of Separation
TAGS:  •   •   •

Apart from the financial crisis, two events recently hogged the headlines of most metaphysical groups and forums. Perhaps it is more correct to refer to one as a non-event. As I follow these discussions, I almost want to shake my head as the demons of separation happily pervade the Earth plane.

In the days following the prediction of a UFO appearance on 14th October 2008, there were many comments on the internet including those who express their disappointment.

However, the shame is not in the non-event of the predicted UFO appearance.

The shame is in the attacks and sarcasms I have seen on the internet towards the supporters of the predicted event. What is more disturbing is that some of these people call themselves lightworkers and yet clearly lack the compassion and acceptance of other people's truths.

As a metaphysics magazine, we see it as a role to give our readers up-to-date news in the metaphysical circle. Since the UFO appearance prediction is considerably major news supported by a number of channelers, I felt we should include it somehow and leave the discernment to the readers.

On the other hand, it is not our policy to dabble too much into prophecies and predictions of which many are non-events and not too empowering. It is not even our opinion that predictions can be accurate when the free will of mass consciousness can change potentials from moment to moment.

Anyhow, we decided to put up this news in our forum instead which would also mean that we do not take an official position on this prediction. To our surprise, 23,000 people have read it since we put it up.

Many comments were also posted and it is interesting to see a divisive line drawn between the believers and skeptics. “You would see when the day comes”, each side would stake, hoping to claim victory that they would be right. Duality and separation is clearly evident.

Can't we just accept that it may or may not appear?

Nevertheless, is there really a right or wrong? A friend who ran a popular YahooGroup humbled me when she reminded me that all scenarios would have taken place in the parallel universes, timelines or realities. You see, I was trying to tell her that the Large Hadron Collider project is not going to be catastrophic as an article in her website has warned.

And truly, we cannot discount anything. To do so would be presumptuous of us. A truly liberal thinker must be opened to all possibilities at all times. Spiritual growth stops the moment we close our mind and think that we had the absolute answer to something. Not to mention the countless conflicts and wars that resulted because two parties are stuck in their own opinions.

So I wonder why the two groups must insist on one way or the other — that the UFO craft would definitely appear or definitely not appear. Can't we just accept that it may or may not appear? The world is not black or white. There are many shades of colours.

Perhaps we could take a biased view but that should remain our individual opinion. And one does not need to impose his truth on another or insist that others agree with him.

In this incident, those who were hoping for the UFOs to save them will learn in their own ways not to give their power away to external sources. People will also sharpen their discernment on taking in information. On the other hand, there are genuine believers who simply look forward to meet our space brothers on an equal basis.

Those who gloat or lash out at the supporters should examine their own judgmental reactions and spiritual arrogance. To be fair, there are others who simply offer opinions on why they feel the UFOs would not appear and they speak their truths quietly.

Above all, did it really matter if the predicted UFO craft would appear or not? Extraterrestrials have always been visiting Earth throughout the history of mankind. And you know what? The extraterrestrials include you and me.

Think about it.

COMMENTS ON THIS ARTICLE

Great article, Chee -- I loved it! Very fair and balanced. What your Yahoo Group friend said about parallel universes reminded me of something Seth (through Jane Roberts) said many years ago.

Seth said there was an alternate end to World War II where the world was destroyed in a nuclear holocaust. Obviously, none of us (or our parents) chose to participate in that version of the war. But it happened nevertheless.

Thanks for all you and Lee are doing to wake up the consciousness of the world.

Blessings,

John

reality and personal truth

When it is true that we should not make judgment on what is happening in the event, we should not forget the importance of the material world and its grounding. There are many people using the name of GOD, source and the master predicting things that they themselves cannnot confirm and that is really scary. Imagine today we have people channel information of an UFO, what happen if someone channel that there is World War 3? Does that mean we should start buying rations? That is really something which needs discernment. Discernment starts from the channeler herself to understand the responsibility of the channelling and the area of effect it can bring about. By showing the world somthing which cannot be confirmed, that is a risk.

Since she took the risk, then she would have to learn the lessons that go by the risk. There is nothing right or wrong with the people saying those nasty comment. As much as there are people saying nasty things, there are people who are supporting her. So are the supporters all right also to blindly believe and even channel more to support her? I believe this is something she might need to learn. Therefore i find what the article which have been written (in my personal opinion) is not balanced to both perspective of the critic and supporters. As a professional magazine, there should be filtering of what needs to be shown to the masses. So this i feel is what a lesson for all of us to learn "what is discernment?" - including the readers of course.

I do not think it is abnormal to criticize even though it is not appropriate. But since it is the lesson that she have created, we should also then respect the circumstance that comes with it and not blindly support her.

Just my humble opinion
