Chief Joseph: Free Will

A reader sent us this question recently:

“How much free will do we have as humans? For example, we as our higher selves, have chosen our parents, race, gender, and birth place. But they are not something we can change as incarnated personalities.

“Then why are we taught we have free will as humans? Isn't it misleading since the idea of free will is that we either have complete free choice in everything or we don't?”

Chief Joseph

This concept of free will is so misunderstood and misconceived by many humans.

We’ve said, again and again over the years, you create your own realities.

What, exactly, does that mean?

Well, for starters, it means you create every experience you have, from birth to death. You have complete free will to go from where you are today to where you want to be tomorrow.

You are free! Freedom is the foundation of your existence as physical extensions of the God/Goddess energy in human bodies. You are free to create what you want, all you want.

However, you often create not deliberately, but by default. That means you don’t pay conscious attention to your thoughts, your focus. So, for example, if you’re focusing on all the “bad” news in your mainstream news media, you create that “bad” vibration in your lives.

Then, guess what? You attract “bad” news into your personal lives.

To create deliberately, you must pay attention to what you’re paying attention to. In other words, you must consciously, deliberately choose thoughts that feel good and right for you. When you do that, you will bring more and more of what is good and right for you into your life experiences.

You have complete free will to go from where you are today to where you want to be tomorrow.

That’s a rather long-winded introduction to our main point here today. Which is:
You have free will. Period! You can use that free will to create the life of your dreams.

You cannot, however, use your free will to create in the experiences of another being. Even if that “other being” is your higher self before you incarnated, when it was choosing your parents, race, gender, birth place, etc. You cannot go back and delete the “bad” experience you chose ten years ago — or ten minutes ago.

But, as we said at the beginning here today, you create every experience you have, from birth to death. You have complete free will to go from where you are today to where you want to be tomorrow.

That, friends, is when you have total, complete, eternal free will — when you focus on your own world, your own personal experiences.

You will never be able to control other humans, your governments, other nations, your economy, etc., etc. And you don’t need to. All you need to do is pay attention to what you’re creating in your own lives.
