Nothing is an accident.

Literally. Or so it seems.

This phrase might have been a tad over-used in metaphyiscal materials, yet a book I read recently has just reaffirmed its validity. There is practically nothing that has been allowed to happen randomly. No accidents of a child hurting himself, cars crashing, meeting somebody that seem too coincidental, making that turn in a certain direction and ended up robbed or ended up avoiding one, winning that one-in-a-million chance lottery or lucky draw, etc. If it happened to you, you have agreed to have that experience at some levels.

That book is Courageous Souls: Do We Plan Our Life Challenges Before Birth? by Robert Schwartz. Of course, it is no accident that Robert Schwartz has written the book for he has it as a soul agreement. His soul has planned for it to happen this lifetime.

When someone not on a conscious spiritual path or just beginning one sees that statement, they often ask in bewilderment how it could be so. Which loving God, my friend once retorted, if there is one, would have allowed Hitler to exterminate millions of Jews, or that poor child to be born severely physically impaired, or allow a terrorist to blow up so many innocents, or that most wonderful husband and father to be taken from his family and left them with such pain and unfulfilled dreams?

The answer which we may not want to hear is that everything is really planned and agreed at a soul level and while we as humans cannot even comprehend or imagine such monstrosities, they are actually planned in such great details before incarnation and our spiritual guides even have had a hand in making sure they happen that way!

How could that be?!! You may gasped in disbelief. Now, it is necessary to clarify that our souls actually have such great love for one another that they willingly take up roles disguised as the villain, in order to help another soul. In the book, Robert Schwartz has carefully detailed a case whereby a woman has agreed before incarnation to be involved in a terrorist act by someone in her soul family. They did this in order to transmute the energy in which the "victim" heals herself and forgives the "perpetrator". The seemingly disastrous event also serves to motivate and prepare her towards a life of guiding others. She acknowledged that her missing fingers (due to the explosion) helped people to open up to her, making her "qualified" to talk about things.

Rather unexpectedly, reading the book has also actually helped me in resolving a very difficult relationship I had with my own father. Due to his own insecurities, he has made life hell for me and my family, or so it seemed. Yet, I now realise from the case studies I read in the book, that I could have, before my incarnation, asked the soul who's going to be my father to do this to me. I could literally imagine myself asking him on a soul level, "I know you are not willing to do this. But I need you to do this to me (the emotional abuse) so that I will learn my lesson not to give any energy to it. It will be hard but when I come back (spiritual) home, I will not bear any grudges towards you."

It has been many years and my range of emotions towards my father have run the full spectrum of lower vibrations from frustration to anger and even hatred. While I have known at some level that this is all an illusion and not what it seems to be. Yet, it is only when I have read this astounding book by Robert Schwartz that I truly understand that there is really no victim in this world. We are all actors in this most amazing stage called Earth playing a myriad of roles to serve one another. We have all been oppressors and suppressors and we are all truly courageous souls, who are willing to forget our divinity, so that we can rediscover God in ourselves and in all others one day.

Is it any wonder then why Kryon always end their messages with the following words:

Right now it's a time of foot washing, is it not? Most of you know that these are the closing moments of the channeling, yet we continue to wash your feet. We've poured energy into this room and also to those of you reading this. It's a sacred family energy from the entourage that has come from beyond the veil. It has been delivered from those who love you - who pass between these aisles and these chairs and who give you hugs - those at your feet right now.

For you and I are truly the courageous ones who come forward to Earth.

And why Jesus said "Do not judge another" for we do not truly know our agreements and plans with others until we have returned home.
