Chief Joseph: Inner Guidance vs Seeking Advice

We have all probably heard we are our own masters and should go within for answers. Many doubt the wisdom of that advice. Here’s a question we were asked recently:

“To what extent should we seek out advice from Spirit, such as yourself and Chief Joseph?”

Chief Joseph

Friends, your highest authority, bar none, is you -- your inner guidance, your higher selves. No one, in human or spirit form, is wiser than you when it comes to how you should live your lives.

There are no wise human or spirit teachers who would tell you otherwise.

However, there are many individuals and organizations in your lives who would have you believe they know what’s best for you. Yet none of them do. They cannot know what’s best for you. Often they offer you unsolicited advice, some of it well-intended and some of it not, out of a sense of fear.

They fear if you do not conform to their advice, their rules, their laws, their world would go to hell in a handbasket. Whether we’re talking about individuals or groups, even governments and churches, they’re coming from a deep sense of insecurity and a false belief that someone else can create their realities, and thereby screw up their lives.

Your modern society is hell-bent on manipulating as many people as it can. Therefore, it has literally brainwashed many of you into believing you are powerless, worthless wimps, and your own inner guidance is usually “selfish” and just plain wrong.

Do you see why so many of you doubt your own inner guidance, and are often afraid to follow it?

It’s no wonder you’re constantly seeking validation and advice from those who can never give you validation or good advice.

Only you can create your own sense of self-worth. You will never find that self-worth in the eyes or the approval of another. Only you can give you the highest and best guidance.

That brings us to the question we were asked:

“To what extent should we seek out advice from Spirit, such as yourself and Chief Joseph?”

It’s an excellent question and, as John said, many have asked it.

To repeat ourselves, you will never find a higher authority than you -- your inner guidance, your higher selves.

We and all the spirit supporters and teachers we work with will never disempower the humans who come to us. That is exactly what your modern society does -- it tries to disempower you. When you refuse to be disempowered, you’re often ostracized and condemned for not conforming.

Spirit will never do that to you. Spirit wants to empower you. Spirit wants to remind you of who you really are -- gods and goddesses in human form. Spirit wants to remind you all your power is within.

When you believe the core message of Spirit -- you are all divine -- you will never need to seek advice outside yourselves.

The “bottom line” here, friends, is this:
John’s and our goal is to put ourselves out of business. When you finally believe you are God, there will be nothing left for us to do.

Chief Joseph and John Cali are featured in a new documentary movie - Tuning In - that also interviews five other prominent American channels. Check out the movie trailer here.

About the Channel

John Cali

Since 1992, John Cali has been communicating with a non-physical entity called Joseph. In one of his many physical lifetimes, this spirit was incarnated as the legendary Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe in what is now the state of Oregon in the northwestern USA. These messages are a blend of information from Joseph, other spirits in the "Joseph group," and John.
