Dear children of the light

There will be continual energy shifts taking place on earth. As Sept 18, 2007 approaches, you may wonder about its implications. To us in the spiritual realms, it represents the energy of completion. It is a timeline by which we measure your growth and progress towards achieving higher consciousness. This is an onward journey and each human takes his/her step forward in accordance to the pace with which one can arrive at a series of destination points. There is no hurry but we caution against rushing towards this goal before understanding each challenge or lesson presented to you. These karmic experiences or lessons are chosen by you to facilitate your enlightenment. Why do humans feel the need to compare their spiritual paths with others in the spirit of competition and judgment? There is absolutely no need for this. Each will reach the desired goal in his/her own time.

When I was invited to write a review of this book, my answer was a resounding "Yes!". My own mother died of cancer of the pancreas within one year of diagnosis. This was a sign to me that cancer is already at my family doorstep and I need to consciously choose a holistic lifestyle and diet that promotes a disease-free outcome. I have been healthy most of my life and this makes me all the more determined to stay that way and it can be done, as illustrated from the courageous approaches of the people featured in the book.
