These questions and answers are originally prepared for our Frequently Asked Questions page. We realise later that it is really an "interview" with Joyouschee, so we are including it as an article in this issue with some minor modifications.

I have been wondering for quite a while now on how to go about making the 'right' choices, if there is such a thing as 'right'. I find that it depends not on the WHAT but on the WHY of our choices. It depends on whether our motivation is love, or fear. The choices made can be exactly the same, at least on the surface, but as long as the driving force is different, so too will the experiences and consequences. It is only choices made out of love instead of fear that will bring us the greatest joy, the greatest bliss!

I have found that quite often when I encounter difficulties, my very first reaction tends to be that of judging others and putting the blame on them. It is usually after some introspection that I realize that difficult situations are in fact the universe's way of mirroring for me issues within myself that need my attention, and that the solution can always be found within, not without. It is about changing myself, not others. Others may seem like the cause of my problems, but they are however not the root cause. It is only when I look within that I realize that it is out of my own fears and insecurities that I often reacted negatively.

"Why an online metaphysics magazine?", you may ask. It's simply because there are so many magazines on business, fashion, computers, entertainment and so on, but hardly any that caters to the metaphysics community. Thus, Chee and I, two very ordinary folks with our not-too-ordinary passion doing our bit to add more Light to the earth plane, decided to start Cosmic Lighthouse!

Cosmic Lighthouse symbolizes the Lighthouse that each of us is and has always been, whose Light when allowed to shine heals and blesses not just oneself but also others.

We hope that amidst the enchanting duality of this physical plane, more can be reminded of the Divinity that is our true identity, learn to see through the illusion of the physical plane and enjoy this game of life that we have all chosen to play!
