
Why do grown-ups make war? They scare me. They tell me they do it for me, for the future. But when my family and friends are dead, what is left for me?

The colourful butterfly is a very known symbol for transformation. The caterpillar becomes a pupa and the pupa transforms into a butterfly with no fear to fly.

Inspired by the story of the White Buffalo Calf Pipe Woman (Lakota people), the artist painted her message: “The earth and all life is sacred. Every step on the earth you take is holy and everbody has to be treated with deep respect. Then the White Buffalo Energy can bring abundance for everyone. Hear the drums of the White Buffalo Nation and hope will be on your site”.
Monos added 12 children of different cultures to emphasize the thought of cooperation.
The little guy caressing the cat is one of our grandchildren.

Two figures are entangled together in a complicated knot. The colored laces represent the energy bodies of two human entities, who are deeply involved with each other. The female figure on the upper right tries to loosen the knot with a pole. This is all about deep emotional - energetic involvement.
