Why do grown-ups make war? They scare me. They tell me they do it for me, for the future. But when my family and friends are dead, what is left for me?

The colourful butterfly is a very known symbol for transformation. The caterpillar becomes a pupa and the pupa transforms into a butterfly with no fear to fly.

Inspired by the story of the White Buffalo Calf Pipe Woman (Lakota people), the artist painted her message: “The earth and all life is sacred. Every step on the earth you take is holy and everbody has to be treated with deep respect. Then the White Buffalo Energy can bring abundance for everyone. Hear the drums of the White Buffalo Nation and hope will be on your site”.

Monos added 12 children of different cultures to emphasize the thought of cooperation.

"The Therapist" - oil on canvas 90x90 cm, created: 2006

Two figures are entangled together in a complicated knot. The colored laces represent the energy bodies of two human entities, who are deeply involved with each other. The female figure on the upper right tries to loosen the knot with a pole. This is all about deep emotional - energetic involvement.

"The Burden of Happiness"
oil on canvas, 80x100 cm, created: 2004

A figure walks in the water (the reality of earthly life), pulling behind it three spirit guides, wherever he goes. In order to be happy and protected, we have to keep training ourselves for higher awareness, never forgetting the universal powers that act to our best advantages. It may sometimes feel like a burden, but this is part of our journey for enlightenment.

A Song of Peace

(with painting: Bloom)

Peace is starting from the centre
And moving into eternity
Peace is never stagnant
Ever-flowing, like ribbons of rivers
Blue as the brilliant sky
White clouds fluffy at morn

Peace is stillness in the heart
And listening to my soul
Peace is communing with your soul
Totally trusting
Peace is God in your heart

Peace is green, of emerald lake
And trees rustling in the wind
Peace is knowing from within
That God is.

Peace is knowing
There is no need to know all
Peace is embracing the goodness within
And walking barefoot into the unknown

Peace is embracing the darkness
And walking to light
Peace is awakening to the song of birds
Blessing the dawn

Peace is waking to the song of a child.

Peace is walking hand in hand
With the one who loves you
Peace is loving God in all
You set eyes upon
