Our spirit gets challenged daily. How often do we allow challenge to defeat us rather than embracing it? Challenge always encompasses the opportunity for personal growth yet we regularly shun challenge and thereby limit our optimum potential.

In certain areas of my earlier life I regularly accepted defeat rather than challenge. If a physical challenge was presented to me I would embrace it; I was unstoppable, however, in the face of an emotional challenge or the challenge of my spirit I crumbled. Unconsciously I allowed my physical strength to mask my spirit’s weaknesses. I considered myself to be a very strong independent woman however in truth my real self; my spirit was weak! My self esteem and self worth were low.
