Numerology and Astrology Readings – A Step-by-Step Guide to Your Life?

Just last week, my boss saw a copy of a child astrology report, which then sparked off an interesting discussion over lunch. He found it quite interesting, and asked, “do you follow exactly what the report says?”

I’m sure almost every one of you reading this has attempted to take a peek at what’s in it for you in this lifetime. Be it reading what the horoscope column in the fashion magazine has to say about you for the next one week, filling up your birthdate in websites for free numerology reports, going to a fortune teller to ask if you will have good fortune this lifetime, or paying for an astrology report which tells you who you are and what’s in store for you in the next few decades of your life on Earth. We are born curious and when we know of such avenues to know ourselves better, we get more curious!

I have this friend, Matt, whom I knew from work. Our relationship went on fine except the fact that very often, Matt will flare up at me for no good reasons and start ignoring me for a few days/weeks. Initially, I’ll be angry and think to myself, “what right does he have to throw tantrums at us when we don’t even know what’s going on??” There was once I asked my friend, Alex, “If I really want to be Matt’s friend, I should tell him what is his problem, shouldn't I?” Alex advised me not to get upset over what Matt says or does, as that will create more negativity and that I may be interfering with Matt’s spiritual growth if I tell him what he should be doing. It’s perhaps a lesson that he needs to learn this lifetime. So, I left it as it is and tried to ignore Matt’s nonsense as much as I can. Well, I still do get irritated sometimes, but I tried to ignore my feelings

Thanks to Lee and Chee, I’m truly honored to be invited to start a column in their first online metaphysics magazine. I wish for people who read this column to feel as if they are chatting with me in a cozy corner of a room and just next to a fireplace. Thus, the name Sinue’s Fireplace Chats.

To be absolutely honest, I really had my doubts about metaphysics in the beginning as it sounded a little impossible to me.

My short metaphysics learning journey began around 2005, when a friend also began his. I kind of like to tag along. I started reading Kryon’s series of books, though I’ve really only read two or three of them. Although I continued to read a couple more other books, I relied more on browsing websites online (I must mention Maitreya website which I really liked, as the Master’s teaching is easy to understand) and participating in forums. That was where I learnt more about metaphysics and spirituality. Eventually it led me to my growing interest in crystals and to even take up Reiki I and II.
